Feeling Inspired.

I haven’t been blogging as much as I’ve been meaning to. Lately, every time an idea pops into my head, I find it difficult to focus on actually developing the idea. There are many things about which I could post; I’m just too lazy and unmotivated to see them through. I think part of my issue is since I’ve been back home, I haven’t really taken the time to find a place, be it mental or physical, to which I can retreat. Where I can go to focus solely on my writing.

I’ve been given the chance to contribute to an online magazine, and I’m very grateful for the opportunity, so I’d like to make sure any articles I submit are the best they can be. To do this, I feel, I need to find somewhere I can go where I feel free to think,  jot down ideas, type away, frantically backspace when something better comes along, repeat. If it weren’t so hot all the time I’d sit by the pool and work.

When I was doing my undergraduate studies, I liked to hide away in the library, fourth floor, in a cozy little nook in the very back of the shelves. If my university weren’t 4 hours away, I’d certainly consider revisiting my old hiding place. I’d like to know where you like to go to feel inspired to write, or to be productive in any other way.
